Faith Full Families
The Family Club turns over a new leaf this Fall… we are changing our name to Faith-Full Families to better reflect what we do. HISTORY
In 2002 several parents within the parish came together to create The St. Andrew by the Bay Family Club to help our busy families to be involved in our parish life and events while still juggling all the other commitments of today’s active families.  We welcome all families to come to as many events as they wish.  We want them to still feel a part of the group and parish community even if they can only attend 1 or 2 events a year.

The group is open to families with children of all ages, grandparents and their grandchildren, and families and their godchildren.   There is no “membership” in the traditional sense, only a keen desire to integrate parish and family life as fully as possible.

 

The family club provides an opportunity for families to build a network of friendships within the church community, emphasizing family as the focal point in a warm Christian environment.  The club incorporates spiritual, community and social related events throughout the year for the whole family as well as some for just Moms and Dads.

 

Some events may be geared for different ages and we encourage our young adult members to interact with our younger members.

 

The club sponsors about 1 event nearly every month in addition to working with and supporting events already occurring at SABB.  We are a new group and are looking forward to meeting the interests of all of our families and encourage new ideas for programs and events that will assure our mission to remain responsive to the spiritual and social needs of Catholic families on the Broadneck Penninsula.
