My Sister’s Place Casserole Project:

The casserole project provides lunch once a month to needy women and children at My Sister’s Place, Catholic Charities’ new day shelter next to the Basilica in Baltimore.  Members prepare and freeze casseroles at home and place them in the Parish Center freezer.  On the 2^nd Monday of each month 8-10 of our project members take the casseroles to My Sister’s Place and serve the lunch meal.  There are no meetings to attend, no special talents needed, just follow the provided recipes.  Parishioners can volunteer to prepare food and/or help serve lunch on a monthly or occasional basis.  This is an excellent ministry for families.
