Stand Training

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is now offering online Adult STAND training for anyone with access to a computer and a printer. This is the same training that adult volunteers would undergo by viewing the “STAND” video. The online course takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete. You will be asked to enter your name as well as the name of our parish. Note that this step MUST be completed in order to receive credit for the course. Upon successful completion of the course, you must then print out the Certificate of Completion and give the certificate to the Parish Office for inclusion in your STAND file. If you have already viewed the STAND video in person, you do not need to complete the online training.

Please remember that this satisfies only the “training” portion of the STAND program. All volunteers will still need to complete the Volunteer Application Form and the Volunteer Criminal History Screening Consent Form, in addition to providing three references. Once all these steps are completed, then you may volunteer to work with children/youth in our parish.
