Parish Mission Statement

Formed by God’s Word, called to be disciples of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, the parish community of St. Andrew by the Bay seeks to be A Joyful Sign of God’s Reign.

As a baptized community of faith in the Roman Catholic Tradition, we celebrate and witness to God’s presence through:

  • WORSHIP AND PRAYER,
  • LEARNING AND PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS,
  • SERVICE TO GOD’S PEOPLE, AND
  • STEWARDSHIP OF THE GIFTS GOD HAS ENTRUSTED TO US.

 

Library Open:

  • Sunday mornings 9:00-11:30am
  • Summer Sundays (Memorial to Labor Day):  9:30-10:30am
  • During office hours, unless the room is being used.
  • Evenings, before and after meetings.

March for Life

January 24, 2020

The Knights of Columbus and the Respect Life Ministry will provide a free bus from the SABB Parking Lot to the 47th Annual Rally & March for Life in Washington, DC.
 
Departure: 10:30 a.m. (Please arrive by 10:15 a.m.; refreshments on bus)
Returning: Approximately 4:30 p.m.
Children/Strollers are welcome.
Lunch – Bring a bag lunch.
Restroom – On bus
Please remember to dress warmly!

Learn practical skills to:
  • Listen well to someone’s faith story
  • Ask the kind of questions that help others tell their stories
  • Discern where you and others may be on their spiritual journeys
  • Share your own faith story with someone

The Great Story of Jesus Retreat: Who Do You Say That I Am?

Shrine of St. Anthony, Ellicott City where you can feel peace the minute  you step on the grounds.
 
(breakfast and lunch included)
Cost to us is $50 per person
(We accept any donation you can give.)
Small group limited to 15 people - 6 spaces left.
 
Come encounter Jesus Christ anew and see what happens.  The Great Story of Jesus:  Why he came, how he came, his life, his death, his resurrection and ascension.  His invitation for every person to encounter him in order to make the choice to follow him.

Workcamp will be in Steubenville, OH from July 12-17, 2020. 

 
To secure a spot, please turn in the registration form along with $100 registration fee to the parish office or drop at the welcome desk in the narthex at weekend Mass by September 13th so we can get an idea of how many spots to register for.  Click on image for registration form.
