Children's Faith Formation at our Parish
We invite all children, from 4 years of age through Grade 4 into our Children's Faith Formation program to know the beauty of our Catholic faith and nurture their relationship with Christ. For our 5th graders, there are no class sessions but instead an experience-based faith formation through the Doves program on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays before the evening Mass. Please note that the 5th graders have a separate registration form.
There are two options for faith formation (pre-k thru grade 4) this year:
-
Sunday mornings from 9:35 AM to 10:20 AM with mass attendance before or after their session.
-
Homeschool
*Please note there is no longer a Monday evening session.
**Registration is online only

1st Eucharist/1st Reconciliation
Children in 2nd grade or beyond and are in their second consecutive year of faith formation are able to register for the Sacraments of 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion. Per Archdiocesan guidelines, children must receive reconciliation PRIOR to receiving 1st Communion, and attend all Sacramental events. The discernment process for this, and any, Sacrament, takes place throughout the entire year, even after registration.
For more information on these Sacraments please visit Eucharist | St. Andrew by the Bay or contact Nora Blasy at nora.blasy@archbalt.org.

CALENDAR for 1st Eucharist/1st Reconciliation coming June 1st!
Confirmation
Within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the confirmation age has officially changed to 9 years of age, instead of the previous age of 15. If you have a child approaching the age of 9, or past the age of 9 who hasn't received the sacrament of confirmation, please contact Nora Blasy at nora.blasy@archbalt.org or call at 410-974-4366.
